MOT Tester Refresher Training
If you’re an MOT tester but you haven’t been testing for a while then you might be in need of a refresher.
Testers who’ve been out of the game for 6 months or more should apply for refresher training. We offer a comprehensive MOT refresher training course that’s guaranteed to get you ready to test again.
Assessment
Once you’re successfully through the course, and depending on your circumstances you’ll need to complete a demo test for DVSA. As soon as you’ve completed the demo test you’ll get your licence back and you’ll be all set to start testing again.
We can help you train or do practice runs for the test at our centre and we’ll also host the demo test for you in a relaxed, stress-free environment.

Do I have to get MOT training every year?
If you want to keep your licence as an MOT tester then you must:
- Complete three hours of training each year
- Keep a record of your training
- Take an annual assessment
- Record your result on the MOT testing service
